the bathroom lacked basic amenities like body wash, which is practically standard nowadays. and the room was freezing, with no heating controls. I would’ve expected a complimentary upgrade for enduring such discomfort but, alas, the generous hosts seem to be too busy. I’m so disappointed I can’t even think of leaving a good review. absoluteley scandalous!

I gotta say, the hosts were incredibly nice, always on hand to help, made us feel right at home. The bathroom and shower room were huge and kept clean every day, perfect after coming back from a tiring outing.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, and it was okay.

I loved how welcoming the owners were, and the family room had enough space for everyone. A handy power point by the bed for charging devices. The shortcut to Armadale station made it easy to get into Edinburgh quickly without breaking the bank. it would be great to have a shelf in the shower room for toiletries since the sink is a bit small.

It was just a commendable fit for a hurried visit in Bathgate with decent value for money. I appreciated the genuine welcome upon arrival and quick room access. For a smoother experience, it’s a good idea to confirm the check-in details beforehand.

The hosts were exceptionally warm, just like the temperature of the room in the cold weather. After a busy day, returning to a clean space with fluffy pillows was like a relief, made every moment of the stay memorable.
